Yoshi is a green-like dinosaur that acts as Mario and Peach, and the protagonist of his own series. Among members of the Yoshi species hailing from Yoshi's Island, any Yoshi may be identified as the "Yoshi" character, and as such, not all iterations of the character are necessarily the same one. Yoshi is ridder in some Super Mario Games and Yoshi is a friend of Toad and Princess Peach.
